Privacy PolicyWe take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We believe this site complies with the guidelines of the Australian Internet Industry Privacy Code Of Practice and the Australian Privacy Commissioner's National Principles for the Fair Handling of Personal Information. We use the Westpac Internet Merchant service. This facilitates the processing of credit card transactions online using the EFTPOS network within a secure hosting environment provided by Westpac. As one of Australia's leading banks, Westpac is obligated to comply with the National Privacy Principles, the Code of Banking Practice and the credit provider provisions in the Privacy Act. No credit card numbers are stored by us. The real time eCommerce system we have implemented allows us to accept a card number, process it, and record only the details of the transaction (ie success or failure and amount). An initial credit card LUHN verification is done, ensuring that any credit card entered meets the minimum test for validity. Card numbers are then passed to our Bank for payment approvals. This is done using the industry leading AES encryption for credit card numbers (AES is an advanced algorithm which cryptographic experts believe to be secure for at least 1000 years, even allowing for the advancements in computing power over that time). Note: Encryption for credit cards has been updated to latest version of Polar Crypto DLL. And the eCommerce system we have implemented also allows for Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) processing on checkout so if you are using a security-enabled browser, the information you send us regarding your purchase is encrypted (eg your name and address). We may send you information via email from time to time advising you of new developments or features available at www.BusinessDiagnostics.com.au. You may at any time advise us that you do not wish to receive these emails and we will remove your email from our address list. If you tell us or have previously told us that you do not wish to receive such information, then it will not be sent to you.
